1.RESCUE DATE- 18 th Dec 2019

2.PLACE- Girnare (outskirts of Nashik)

3.CONDITION WHEN RESCUED- It was observed that the wing had extensive injuries and was hanging on a single cartilage.

4.VETERINARY CARE- the eagle was taken to veterinary polyclinic.
On examination, it was diagnosed that the
entire wing tissue was infected and had
gangrene & hence had to be amputated. Later
after few days, a part of remaining infected
bone was removed.

4.REHABILITATION CARE TAKEN-providing proper basking area. Providing a
nutritious & comprehensive diet. Stress free
environment. Owning to the permanent wing
disability, this eagle will be under our care.
However, efforts are being made along with
the forest department of Nashik to provide a
permanent shelter.

4.status- Permanently Disabled.
